What we’re looking for.

To join us on our Level 2 or 3 apprenticeships, you must have GCSE grades 4/C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.

To join us on a Level 4 apprenticeship, you must have GCSE grades 4/C (or equivalent) in Maths and English, plus Level 3 qualifications (A-Levels or BTEC grade A – D).

Did you know...

There is a variety of exciting career paths available in the built in environment.

It’s not just about working on building sites - we need creative thinkers, problem solvers and people with all kinds of skills. From designers and writers to project managers, surveyors, accountants and more, there’s a role for everyone.

 

 

Industry pathways

We have a range of Level 2, 3 and 4 apprenticeship roles to help start your career in the built environment.

1. Business administration
This apprenticeship will equip you with the transferable skills you’ll need to play a vital support role in the team. This includes helping with a variety of administrative tasks, whilst communicating with team members and showing you can manage priorities.

2. Building service engineering
On this apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to ‘make buildings work’ and get the skills you need to complete various building services engineering activities. These range from making sure systems are working, to performing health and safety tasks and communicating with customers and subcontractors. 

3. Carpentry
On this apprenticeship, you will learn the skills needed to install building components. You will learn to work with wood-based materials to create and install these, whilst demonstrating a good knowledge of health and safety.

4. Customer service
This apprenticeship will give you the transferable skills you need to play an important support role in delivering high quality service to our customers. You will have a wide range of duties, from processing payments and orders to offering advice, support and guidance.

5. Electrician
On this apprenticeship, you will gain skills to carry out the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment on site. You will learn about safe working practices, as well as the correct techniques to do your job well.

6. Facilities operative
This apprenticeship will involve you providing facilities support to the team, including activities such as maintenance and engineering. You will work closely with your colleagues to effectively carry out your role.

7. Human resources
On this apprenticeship, you’ll carry our HR team. You will answer queries and provide advice while working with our HR system, producing reports and updating records as needed.  

8. Maintenance operative
On this apprenticeship, you’ll carry out general, day-to-day maintenance required to keep properties safe and in a good state of repair.  This could include both routine, planned tasks and responsive repair works. 

9. Plumbing
During this apprenticeship, you’ll learn to size and select, plan and install, service, maintain and commission plumbing and domestic heating systems. You’ll also interact regularly with your team in this role.
