In July 2023, Chief Executive Eoghan O’Lionaird joined an expert panel for the Fawcett Society’s ’Equal play’ webinar: ‘Unlimited Potential’, which delved into the impact of gender stereotypes on children’s career choices.
The panel discussed their experiences in facing and challenging gender stereotypes. They provided practical tips for parents, caregivers, career advisors, and teachers to support children in exploring diverse choices based on their individual strengths and aspirations, rather than conforming to societal expectations.
