What we’re looking for

To join us on a Level 2/3 apprenticeship, you must have GCSEs grade 4/C or above in both Maths and English.

You don’t need previous work experience, but we will be looking at how you demonstrate your ability to work in a team, collaborate and communicate with others and how you take a proactive approach to your career development.

A career in the built environment is not just about working on building sites. The industry needs people from all walks of life with a wide range of skills, from designers, lawyers, writers to project managers, accountants and surveyors, just to name a few.

Pathways available

We have a range of level 2/3 apprenticeship roles to help start your career pathway in the built environment.

This apprenticeship route will provide you with a transferable set of skills, equipping you to play an important support role in the team.  You will support the team with a variety of administrative tasks, whilst communicating with members of the team and demonstrating your ability to manage priorities.

On this apprenticeship, you will learn how to ‘make buildings work’ and be equipped with the skills you need to complete a range of building services engineering activities, from making sure systems are working, to performing health and safety tasks, to communicating with customers and subcontractors. 

Within this apprenticeship, you will learn the skills needed to effectively install building components.  You will learn to work with wood-based materials to create and install these components, whilst demonstrating health and safety knowledge.

This apprenticeship will provide you with a transferable set of skills, equipping you to play an important support role in delivering high quality service to our customers.  You will have a wide range of duties, from processing payments and orders, to offering advice, support, and guidance.

On this apprenticeship, you will be equipped with the skills to carry out the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment on site.  You will learn about safe working practices, as well as the correct techniques to effectively carry out your role.

This apprenticeship will involve you providing facilities support to the team.  This will include activities such as maintenance and engineering, and you will work closely with your colleagues to effectively carry out your role.

On this apprenticeship, you will play a supportive role to the human resources team.  You will answer queries and provide advice, all whilst working closely with our HR system, producing reports and updating records where required.  

This apprenticeship will involve you conducting the general, day to day maintenance require to keep properties safe and in a good state of repair.  This could include routine, planned tasks and responsive repair works. 

During this apprenticeship, you will interact regularly with your team, with your duties being to size and select, plan and install, service, maintain and commission plumbing and domestic heating systems.
