Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Security Clearance: Successful candidates will be required to pass Ministry of Justice (MOJ) security clearance and prison vetting before commencing work.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting project delivery teams. You will play a key role in maintaining project records, coordinating site documentation, supporting compliance activities, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of project administration.
The Role
As Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the project team, helping to ensure the efficient operation of project activities within a secure custodial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional administrative support to project and site teams.
- Processing and coordinating prison access for visitors, contractors, and new starters.
- Manage project correspondence, emails, meeting minutes and action trackers.
- Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy filing systems.
- Support document control processes, ensuring project documentation is correctly managed and distributed.
- Maintain project databases, trackers, and reporting information.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
- Ensure compliance records, training records and site documentation remain up to date.
- Assist with workforce, labour, and security clearance administration.
- Support health, safety, environmental and quality administration activities.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative, project support or office coordination role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience maintaining confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to work within structured processes and compliance requirements.
Desirable
- Experience within construction, facilities management, engineering, or project-based environments.
- Experience working within secure, regulated, or public sector environments.
- Knowledge of document control systems.
- Experience supporting health and safety administration.
- Understanding of procurement, invoice processing, or project financial administration.
Security Clearance Requirements
Due to the nature of this project, the successful candidate will be required to:
- Successfully pass Ministry of Justice (MOJ) Enhanced Security Vetting.
- Undergo prison establishment security checks.
- Provide evidence of identity and right to work in the UK.
- Maintain compliance with all prison security procedures and site access requirements.
Please note that employment is conditional upon obtaining and maintaining the required security clearance.
