๐ About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Surveyor to support the delivery of key specialist projects. You'll work closely with experienced Surveyors, gaining hands-on exposure to commercial management, cost control, and contract administrationโa great opportunity to grow your career in construction.

๐ Key Responsibilities
- ๐ผ Assist with tenders, budgets, cost plans & cashflow forecasting
- ๐๏ธ Attend site visits & meetings, maintaining accurate records
- ๐ Support contract administration, including variations, valuations & final accounts
- ๐ฐ Contribute to cost management & monthly CVR reporting
- ๐ฆ Assist with procurement & subcontractor engagement
- โ Ensure compliance with building safety, CDM, and police-specific regulations
- ๐ Help track materials, changes, and commercial performance
- ๐ค Build relationships with clients, consultants & supply chain partners

๐ What We're Looking For
- Degree (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying / Construction ๐
- Some experience in a construction or commercial environment (preferred)
- Basic understanding of JCT / NEC contracts ๐
- Strong numerical, analytical & organisational skills ๐ข
- Good knowledge of Excel & Word ๐ป
- Personable, adaptable & eager to learn ๐

- ๐ท Work on projects up to ยฃ8m in value
- ๐ฅ Reporting to Project Surveyor & Contracts Manager
- ๐ Driving licence (beneficial for London site visits)
- ๐ Must be able to obtain NPPV security clearance
- ๐ฆบ Strong focus on safety, compliance & quality (SHEQ)
