We have a number of exciting projects already secured and a strong pipeline of future work across the Northern Home Counties, ranging in value from £30m to £200m. As a result, we are looking to bolster our Commercial team and are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join us, based in Milton Keynes.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience across a diverse portfolio of high‑value projects, working alongside experienced commercial professionals in a supportive environment that encourages learning and progression.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting the commercial management of projects from pre‑construction through to completion
  • Assisting with procurement, subcontractor engagement and cost control activities
  • Preparing valuations, cost reports and forecasts under guidance
  • Supporting the management of variations and change control
  • Assisting with the preparation and agreement of final accounts
  • Working collaboratively with site, commercial, design and supply chain teams
  • Ensuring commercial processes align with company procedures and best practice

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor role or a relevant construction/commercial role
  • A degree or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience on construction projects is beneficial but not essential
