About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Responsive Maintenance business unit and play a key role in delivering business-critical transformation initiatives.

This exciting opportunity will involve supporting the development of operational roadmaps, scheduling solutions, and cloud migration projects that will shape the future of our technology landscape. You'll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand current processes, define future-state requirements, and ensure successful delivery of innovative solutions.

This role is ideal for a Business Analyst who enjoys working across both operational and technical projects, including application discovery, cloud migration, process improvement, and digital transformation initiatives. 🚀


Key Responsibilities

✅ Engage with stakeholders across the business to identify challenges, opportunities, and future-state requirements.

✅ Plan and manage business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle.

✅ Elicit, document, analyse, and validate both functional and non-functional requirements.

✅ Conduct application discovery and assessment activities for cloud migration and transformation programmes.

✅ Document current-state processes, systems, integrations, and dependencies.

✅ Gather infrastructure, network, security, compliance, and operational requirements.

✅ Support migration planning by defining business objectives, success criteria, and constraints.

✅ Work collaboratively with infrastructure, architecture, security, network, and operational teams to design and implement solutions.

✅ Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.

✅ Facilitate stakeholder workshops and maintain effective communication throughout project delivery.

✅ Support testing, UAT, cutover planning, and business readiness activities.

✅ Develop business cases, process maps, user stories, and requirements documentation.

✅ Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis standards, governance, and best practices.


What We're Looking For

🔍 Minimum 3 years' experience in a Business Analyst role.

🎓 Business Analysis qualification or equivalent practical experience.

☁️ Experience supporting application migration, cloud transformation, or technology change projects.

🛠 Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, networking, and application environments.

📊 Experience conducting application discovery, requirements gathering, and impact assessments.

🤝 Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.

💡 Ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into practical solutions.

📈 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement mindset.

🚄 Willingness to travel occasionally as required.


Technical Knowledge & Experience

The successful candidate should have experience or knowledge of:

  • Cloud migration methodologies (Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Retire)
  • Application and infrastructure discovery
  • Systems integration and interface analysis
  • Network connectivity, firewalls, and security considerations
  • Identity and access management
  • Disaster recovery and business continuity requirements
  • Performance, availability, and scalability planning
  • Requirements documentation, process mapping, and user story creation
  • Risk, issue, and dependency management

Desirable

🏗 Experience within the property services, housing, facilities management, or construction sector.

☁️ Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.

📋 Experience supporting digital transformation, operational scheduling, or field service management solutions.
