WPS Planned Housing Maintenance specialises in planned maintenance, energy efficiency retrofits and complex refurbishment projects. 

As our planned works division continues to grow, we are seeking a Digital Operations & Compliance Lead to drive operational excellence, digital innovation and compliance standards across a diverse portfolio of social housing contracts.

The Role

This is a strategic and operational leadership role responsible for the effective management of digital systems, operational processes, data governance and compliance performance across the division.

Working closely with Operations Directors, Commercial Teams, Project Managers and Clients, you will ensure that robust controls, reporting standards and digital solutions are embedded throughout project delivery. You will play a key role in improving efficiency, enhancing data accuracy and supporting high levels of contractual and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of digital operational standards across planned works and retrofit programmes.
• Own divisional compliance frameworks, ensuring projects meet contractual, regulatory and client requirements.
• Drive consistency in data management, reporting and document control processes.
• Develop and maintain operational dashboards, KPIs and performance reporting tools.
• Oversee compliance audits, assurance reviews and improvement plans.
• Support project teams with the implementation and optimisation of digital systems and workflows.
• Ensure accurate and timely management of project documentation, certifications and evidential records.
• Champion continuous improvement and identify opportunities for automation and digital innovation.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to improve service delivery, productivity and governance.
• Lead training and development initiatives to improve digital capability across the business.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership through data-driven reporting and analysis.

About You

Essential

• Experience in a Digital Operations, Compliance, Business Improvement, Information Management or Operational Excellence role.
• Strong understanding of compliance, governance and quality management within the construction, property services or social housing sectors.
• Experience managing digital platforms, reporting systems and performance dashboards.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex operational data.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement and organisational change.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Desirable

• Experience working within planned maintenance, refurbishment or retrofit programmes.
• Knowledge of PAS 2035, compliance frameworks and social housing delivery requirements.
• Experience using Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and project management systems.
• Understanding of information management and digital transformation principles.
• Relevant qualifications within business improvement, compliance, quality, digital operations or project management.
