🌟 About the Role
Join WPS as a Disrepair Manager and take the lead on delivering end-to-end disrepair programmes for a local authority. You'll play a key role in improving residents' homes while ensuring works are completed efficiently, compliantly, and to a high standard.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
✅ Deliver end-to-end disrepair programmes within SLAs
🤝 Act as the main liaison between council, contractors & stakeholders
📋 Review claims and accurately scope works from survey reports
👷 Manage contractors and ensure works are delivered on time, safely, and to quality standards
📊 Drive KPIs including turnaround times, first-time fix & customer satisfaction
🔍 Oversee pre/post inspections to ensure compliance and sign-off standards
⚖️ Support legal processes including pre-action protocols & joint inspections
🛡️ Ensure full compliance with H&S legislation, CDM, and council policies
💰 Manage budgets and maintain cost-efficient delivery
🗂️ Maintain clear documentation and provide regular client reports
🏠 Engage residents, manage expectations & resolve complaints
🚀 Identify improvements to reduce repeat defects and future claims
⚠️ Essential Requirements
📜 SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – mandatory
🚗 Full UK Driving Licence – required
