Electrician

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our team delivering planned maintenance works across social housing properties in Reading.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in improving homes and delivering high-quality electrical installations within local communities. You'll work across a variety of planned programmes, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, testing, and remedial works within occupied and void social housing properties
• Deliver works in line with 18th Edition regulations and current legislation
• Complete inspection, testing, and fault finding (including certification)
• Ensure all work meets quality, compliance, and safety standards
• Provide an excellent customer experience when working in residents' homes
• Accurately complete job sheets, reports, and certification

About You

We're looking for someone who is technically strong, customer-focused, and able to work independently.

You will have:

• ✅ NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• ✅ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• ✅ 2391 Inspection & Testing (essential)
• ✅ Experience working within social housing or domestic planned works
• ✅ Strong knowledge of testing, inspection, and compliance requirements
• ✅ Full UK driving licence
