We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our team delivering planned maintenance works across social housing properties in Reading.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in improving homes and delivering high-quality electrical installations within local communities. You'll work across a variety of planned programmes, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations, testing, and remedial works within occupied and void social housing properties
- Deliver works in line with 18th Edition regulations and current legislation
- Complete inspection, testing, and fault finding (including certification)
- Ensure all work meets quality, compliance, and safety standards
- Provide an excellent customer experience when working in residents' homes
- Accurately complete job sheets, reports, and certification
About You
We're looking for someone who is technically strong, customer-focused, and able to work independently.
You will have:
- ✅ NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- ✅ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ✅ 2391 Inspection & Testing (essential)
- ✅ Experience working within social housing or domestic planned works
- ✅ Strong knowledge of testing, inspection, and compliance requirements
- ✅ Full UK driving licence
