Are you an experienced Information Coordinator or Document Controller looking for the opportunity to play a key role on a major Ministry of Justice project? Do you enjoy bringing structure, accuracy and control to complex project information while working as part of a collaborative and supportive team?
We are looking for an Information Coordinator / Document Controller to join our team at HMP Wayland on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Working within a busy project environment, you'll be responsible for ensuring project information is managed accurately and efficiently throughout the construction lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant scheme within a secure environment, supporting project teams, client stakeholders and supply chain partners through robust information management and document control processes.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll take ownership of project information and documentation, ensuring that information is correctly received, reviewed, distributed and archived in accordance with project requirements and established protocols.
Working closely with design, commercial, operational and client teams, you'll administer project information systems and Common Data Environments (CDEs), monitor workflows and approvals, and help ensure that project documentation remains accurate, compliant and readily accessible.
You'll also support reporting activities, maintain document registers and contribute to the effective delivery of information management best practice across the project.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with experience as an Information Coordinator, Document Controller or similar information management professional within the construction or built environment sector.
Ideally, you'll have previous experience working on Ministry of Justice (MoJ) projects and be familiar with the systems, processes and governance requirements associated with secure government schemes.
You'll have a strong understanding of document control procedures, experience working within Common Data Environments and the ability to manage multiple information streams in a fast-paced project environment.
Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders will be essential.
Due to the nature of the project, applicants must be eligible to obtain the necessary security clearance and pass the associated vetting requirements.
