Mobile Engineer  
Location: Birmingham
 

About the Role: 
WPS is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Engineer to join our Facilities Management team in Birmingham, supporting our client, JLL. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and delivering high-quality technical services across multiple sites. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical building services. 
  • Respond promptly and professionally to helpdesk requests, breakdowns, and emergencies. 
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards at all times. 
  • Liaise with site contacts and supervisors to maintain service excellence. 
  • Support sustainability initiatives and energy-saving measures. 
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used using CAFM/PDA technology. 
  • Provide detailed reports and updates on works delivered. 

 

What We're Looking For: 

  • Experience in delivering hard M&E services in a mobile or multi-site role. 
  • Strong technical knowledge of building services and maintenance. 
  • Excellent communication and time management skills. 
  • Full UK driving licence. 
  • Trade-related qualification (Electrical or Mechanical), e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds. 
  • 18th Edition (for electrical candidates) or equivalent. 
  • Health & Safety training (IOSH or equivalent) is desirable. 
  • Experience with CAFM systems is an advantage.
