The Role

WPS are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Mobile Engineer to join our Facilities Management team covering Central London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a leading organisation, delivering high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse commercial portfolio.

As a Mobile Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients' buildings remain safe, compliant, and fully operational, while providing an excellent service experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across multiple FM sites
  • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical or mechanical systems, depending on your bias
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and end users
  • Complete accurate reporting via CAFM systems and job sheets
  • Support with minor installations, upgrades, and project work when required
  • Participate in an on-call rota where applicable

About You

We're looking for a proactive and reliable engineer with strong technical skills and a commitment to delivering quality service.

You will have:

Electrical Bias:

  • Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition (BS 7671)
  • Strong experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and compliance within FM environments

OR

Mechanical Bias:

  • Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
  • Experience maintaining mechanical systems such as HVAC, pumps, pipework, and plant equipment

In addition:

  • Proven experience working within Facilities Management / Building Services
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working across commercial environments
  • Good knowledge of compliance and H&S best practices
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Multi-skilled capability (electrical & mechanical)
  • HVAC or F-Gas certification (for mechanical bias where applicable)
