💼 About the Role

At Wates Property Services, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi Trader to join our responsive maintenance team in Derbyshire, delivering essential repairs within social housing properties.

You'll be a key part of our front-line team, ensuring residents receive a high-quality, efficient service and that repairs are completed right first time. 🚀

🔧 What You'll Be Doing

🔨 Carrying out repairs and renewals across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling)
🛠️ Diagnosing faults and delivering first-time fixes wherever possible
📊 Working efficiently to meet productivity and service targets
📄 Completing job sheets and accurately reporting work carried out
📞 Liaising with supervisors and schedulers for follow-on works
🏠 Providing excellent customer service to residents
⚠️ Working in line with health & safety and company standards at all times

🧠 What We're Looking For

✅ NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade
✅ Full UK driving licence
✅ Proven experience in social housing or responsive maintenance
✅ Ability to carry out multi-trade work to a high standard
✅ Strong problem-solving skills with a “right first time” approach
✅ Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

Desirable:
➕ Experience across multiple trades
➕ Experience using PDAs or job management systems
