We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead delivery across a key social housing responsive maintenance contract in Lambeth.

This is a critical leadership role, responsible for managing day-to-day operations, driving performance, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.


The Role

As Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of operational delivery across reactive maintenance works, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You will lead operational teams, oversee performance, and work closely with clients and stakeholders to continuously improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the delivery of responsive maintenance works across the contract
  • Oversee operational teams including supervisors, trades, and support functions
  • Ensure KPIs, SLAs, and customer satisfaction targets are consistently achieved
  • Drive productivity, performance, and continuous improvement across all workstreams
  • Manage budgets, resources, and programme delivery
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety and company standards
  • Support and develop a high-performing, engaged workforce

About You

We're looking for a strong operational leader with proven experience in social housing responsive maintenance.

Essential requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager within responsive maintenance
  • Strong background in social housing
  • Experience managing high-volume, fast-paced maintenance contracts
  • Demonstrable experience leading and developing teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills
  • Ability to drive performance and improve service delivery
  • Full UK driving licence
