Due to continued growth across our responsive maintenance contracts, we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team across the East & West Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and people-focused leader to take ownership of multiple contracts within the social housing sector, delivering high-quality services to residents and clients.


About the Role

As Operations Manager, you will lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of works including voids, responsive repairs, elemental works and planned programmes. You'll manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring service delivery meets KPI, compliance, and customer satisfaction expectations.

You will play a key role in building and leading high-performing teams while maintaining strong client relationships and driving operational and commercial performance.

This role will cover contracts across the East & West Midlands, so flexibility to travel is essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of supervisors, operatives and subcontractors to deliver responsive maintenance services
  • Oversee multiple contracts and projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest standards
  • Drive performance against KPIs, service standards and contractual requirements
  • Manage programmes of works across voids, responsive repairs and planned/elemental works
  • Build strong relationships with clients, attending review meetings and driving continuous improvement
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, company policies and regulatory standards
  • Monitor productivity, quality and customer satisfaction to continuously enhance service delivery
  • Support the commercial performance of contracts, contributing to profitability and growth

 


About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • An experienced Operations Manager (or Senior Manager ready to step up)
  • Proven in managing teams within responsive maintenance / repairs (RM)
  • Experienced across voids, responsive repairs and planned/elemental works
  • Ideally from a social housing or property services background
  • A strong leader who can motivate, develop and manage high-performing teams
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing multiple projects/contracts
  • Confident engaging with clients and stakeholders at all levels
  • Flexible and happy to travel across the Midlands region
