The Opportunity

We're looking for a Pre‑Construction Manager to join our Construction team based in Milton Keynes. This is a key role within the business, responsible for leading the pre‑construction process and setting projects up for success from the very start.

You'll work closely with colleagues across design, commercial, bid, planning and delivery teams to develop winning strategies and robust, value‑driven solutions for our clients.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading pre‑construction activities from early engagement through to handover to delivery
  • Developing effective project strategies, programmes and cost plans
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, including design, commercial and supply chain partners
  • Managing risk and opportunity during the pre‑construction phase
  • Supporting bid and work‑winning activity by contributing to high‑quality proposals and presentations
  • Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Promoting innovation, buildability, sustainability and best practice

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a pre‑construction or project leadership role within construction or the built environment
  • Strong understanding of design development, cost planning and construction methodologies
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels
  • A proactive, organised and solutions‑focused approach
  • Experience working on complex or high‑value projects is desirable
