An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to lead the fit out phase of a major battery manufacturing gigafactory in Sunderland. This landmark project will play a key role in supporting the UK's growing electric vehicle and advanced manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the successful delivery of fit out works from mobilisation to handover.
- Lead project teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners to achieve programme milestones.
- Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
- Monitor project budgets, costs and commercial performance.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
- Manage project risks and drive solutions to maintain programme and delivery targets.
About You
- Proven experience delivering large-scale fit out, industrial, manufacturing or construction projects.
- Strong leadership, programme management and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially aware with experience managing project budgets and subcontractors.
- Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) or equivalent experience.
- SMSTS and CSCS certification preferred.
