We're looking for a commercially minded Project Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Birmingham and play a key role in delivering successful projects from inception through to completion.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced surveyor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating with project teams, clients, and supply chain partners to maximise commercial performance and project success.

🔑 What You'll Be Doing

As a Project Surveyor, you'll take accountability for the development and implementation of pre and post-contract commercial strategies, ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Managing commercial functions and contract reporting

✅ Supporting procurement, subcontractor management, and valuations

✅ Producing monthly CVRs and commercial reports

✅ Managing cash flow, cost control, and value recovery

✅ Supporting the agreement of final accounts

✅ Ensuring contractual obligations and processes are completed on time

✅ Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners

✅ Promoting health, safety, environmental and compliance standards across projects

✅ Supporting project teams to achieve commercial and operational objectives

👷 What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

✔ Experience in a Quantity Surveying or Project Surveying role

✔ Strong commercial awareness with excellent cost management skills

✔ Knowledge of construction methods, measurement, and valuation

✔ Experience managing subcontractor procurement and contracts

✔ Understanding of NEC contracts (preferred)

✔ Strong financial and analytical skills

✔ The ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

✔ Excellent communication and negotiation skills

✔ A proactive approach with a focus on delivering results
