The Opportunity
We're looking for a Reward Specialist to join our Construction HR team and help shape a reward offering that supports the Construction business performance, attracts and retains great people, and delivers a positive colleague experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to join at a time of evolution and growth from the central Reward team. Working closely with HR Business Partners, Finance and business leaders, you'll provide expert reward support across compensation, benefits and bonus arrangements, helping to ensure our reward programmes are competitive, commercially focused and aligned to business priorities.
Whilst the core focus of the role is reward, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to the future development of incentive and performance-related reward programmes as our approach continues to evolve.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the development and delivery of our reward strategy and annual reward activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on reward matters.
- Manage and support key reward processes, including salary reviews and bonus cycles.
- Conduct market benchmarking and reward analysis to inform decision-making.
- Review and evaluate reward data, identifying trends and opportunities.
- Help ensure reward practices remain fair, consistent and externally competitive.
- Partner with stakeholders on reward projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the future development of incentive and performance-related reward programmes.
- Support the embedding of reward expertise within the business as our reward capability continues to mature.
What We're Looking For
- Experience within a Reward, Compensation & Benefits or specialist HR reward role.
- Strong understanding of reward principles, salary structures and reward governance.
- Experience supporting bonus schemes and annual reward processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how reward supports organisational performance.
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
It would be beneficial if you have experience of incentive schemes or performance-related pay programmes, although this isn't essential. We're equally interested in candidates with strong reward fundamentals who are keen to broaden their expertise in this area.
Why Join Us?
This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of reward within our Construction business. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, influence reward decision-making and help build capability in an area that is growing in strategic importance.
If you're passionate about reward and enjoy combining data, commercial insight and people-focused thinking to deliver meaningful outcomes, we'd love to hear from you.
