Join WPS as a Roofer

WPS is looking for an experienced and motivated Roofer to join our growing Property Services team covering Lambeth and surrounding South London areas. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality responsive repairs, maintenance, and roofing works across residential properties, ensuring homes remain safe, secure, and weatherproof.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled roofer who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys working in a customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of roofing repairs and maintenance on domestic properties.
• Diagnose roofing defects and determine the most effective repair solutions.
• Work on pitched and flat roofs, including tile, slate, felt, and associated roofing systems.
• Repair or replace guttering, fascias, soffits, and rainwater goods.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Deliver excellent customer service while working in occupied properties.
• Complete job documentation accurately using handheld technology.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

✅ Proven experience as a Roofer within social housing, property maintenance, or construction.

✅ Strong knowledge of:

• Pitched roofing
• Flat roofing systems
• Tiling and slating
• Lead work
• Guttering, fascias, and soffits

✅ Ability to diagnose and resolve roofing issues independently.

✅ Good communication and customer service skills.

✅ Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Roofing Occupations or equivalent.
• Experience working within social housing environments.
• Health & Safety qualifications (CSCS card preferred).
