Wates Group is seeking a Senior Information Controller to join our Wales Region Residential team located in Cardiff.
Wates Residential invests, develops, builds, and sells quality affordable homes through contracting and partnerships with Local Authorities, Housing Associations, and public bodies such as Homes England.
The Senior Information Controller will support the team and the delivery of Digital Information and Data, throughout all phases of a project in accordance with Wates' and Industry recognised Information standards such as ISO 19650. This includes information and Data Quality Checks, CDE implementation & administration, establish and monitor information exchange processes, supporting the maintenance of a "Golden Thread" of information, Coordination of activities with various functions within Wates.
As our Senior Information Controller, you will:
- Tracking of Information Deliverables against the Task Information Delivery Plans (MIDP) and highlighting areas of non-compliance
- Establish and Monitor Information Exchange Processes including file naming protocols in line with the required Information Standards (such as ISO 19650)
- Point of contact for ongoing CDE and Information Management project support including third parties such as suppliers, consultants and clients.
- Configure and maintain project status reports using reportable data such as Information Compliance, RFI's Technical Submissions and other aspects of Information Management to inform project performance and dashboards.
We are looking for:
- A strong understanding of Common Data Environment (CDE) management and administration
- A solid grasp of document control processes, including both digital and hard copy systems
- Good knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and wider Digital Construction principles
- Familiarity with Information Management standards, particularly ISO 19650
- An awareness of information security principles and their importance in construction environments
- An interest in and awareness of digital construction technologies
- A general understanding of construction and design management processes
- Experience in Dalux
Given the nature of this position, you will be required to undergo a Basic (DBS) check at offer stage
