We are looking for a Senior Planner to join our team on a major construction project in Bedfordshire.
This is a key role within the project leadership team, responsible for developing, managing and maintaining robust project programmes that support the successful delivery of the scheme. You will work closely with operational, commercial and design teams, providing planning expertise and strategic insight to ensure programme certainty and effective project controls throughout the project lifecycle.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing, managing and maintaining detailed project programmes from inception through to completion
- Leading programme reporting, progress monitoring and performance analysis
- Identifying programme risks and opportunities, developing mitigation and recovery plans where required
- Working closely with project, commercial and design teams to ensure alignment between programme and delivery objectives
- Supporting project controls, change management and progress reporting processes
- Producing programme updates and reports for senior stakeholders and clients
- Driving best practice in planning, programme management and project controls
- Supporting tender and pre-construction activities where required
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Planner within the construction industry
- Strong track record of working on major construction projects
- Advanced knowledge of project planning and controls methodologies
- Experience using industry-standard planning software, such as Primavera P6
- Ability to analyse complex information and communicate programme implications clearly
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams
