The role:
What you'll be doing:

Traffic & Access Management
- Develop and manage the site traffic strategy.
- Coordinate with police, local authorities, neighbours, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth and safe management of all deliveries.
Site Operations
- Oversee waste management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage site security and boundaries.
- Ensure safe use of hoists, tower cranes, and vertical transportation.
- Maintain clear staircases, corridors, and adequate waste bin distribution.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Lead fire procedures, signage updates, and emergency testing.
- Keep environmental records, meter readings, and delivery/mileage data.
- Ensure statutory and safety signage remains accurate.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Lead a logistics team of 30–40 operatives at peak.
- Deliver daily briefings and maintain strong communication.
- Chair logistics and delivery meetings with subcontractors.
- Produce bi‑monthly newsletters for local residents.
Welfare & Temporary Services
- Ensure offices and welfare areas remain clean, well‑stocked, and industry‑leading.
- Oversee temporary power and plumbing on site.
- Work closely with the canteen provider to maintain service standards.
What you will bring:

Experience managing logistics on a large, live construction site.

Confidence managing multiple stakeholders and large teams.
