We are looking for a Senior Site Manager to join our Construction team, supporting the delivery of projects in and around Cambridge. This is a senior role on site, responsible for leading site operations, driving performance and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.
You will play a key role in managing teams, coordinating subcontractors and supporting the wider project leadership to achieve successful outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading day‑to‑day site operations to ensure safe, efficient and well‑coordinated delivery
- Managing and supporting Site Managers, supervisors and subcontractors
- Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are consistently met and promoted
- Driving quality on site and ensuring works meet project specifications
- Supporting programme delivery, identifying and resolving issues proactively
- Working closely with project, commercial and design teams to maintain alignment
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and contributing to a positive site culture
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager (or experienced Site Manager ready to step up) within construction
- Strong understanding of site management, health & safety and quality standards
- Experience delivering medium to large construction projects
- Confident leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive performance
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
- Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS are desirable
