As Site Administrator, you'll provide day-to-day administrative support to the project team, helping to ensure information is accurate, organised and readily available.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general administrative support to the site and project team
  • Maintaining project documents, records and filing systems
  • Supporting with document control and ensuring information is kept up to date

  • Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes and following up on actions
  • Assisting with reports, presentations and project documentation
  • Supporting site inductions, training records and other compliance documentation
  • Liaising with colleagues, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders
  • Processing and distributing correspondence and information
  • Helping to maintain accurate records in line with project and company procedures
  • Providing ad hoc administrative support to the wider team as required

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable and comfortable working within a busy project environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or project support position
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage changing workloads
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working with a range of colleagues and stakeholders
  • A proactive and collaborative approach
  • The ability to handle project information appropriately and confidentially

Previous experience within construction, engineering, facilities management or a similar project environment would be beneficial, but we're also interested in candidates with strong transferable administrative experience.

Important: Working Within a Live Prison Environment

HMP Liverpool is a live operational prison and, as a result, this position is subject to the successful completion and ongoing maintenance of the necessary security and prison clearances.

The relevant vetting and clearance process will form part of the recruitment and onboarding process, and appointment to the role will be conditional upon the required clearances being obtained.

Candidates should also be comfortable working within the procedures and restrictions associated with a live custodial environment.
