Site Manager

Overview

WPS are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Planned Maintenance team in Dartford. You'll oversee the delivery of social housing refurbishment programmes across a range of workstreams, including kitchens and bathrooms, heat pumps, insulation upgrades, windows and doors and external improvement works.

Key Duties

As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities, ensuring work is delivered in line with programme, quality and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing subcontractors, direct labour and site teams.
• Planning and coordinating daily site operations.
• Monitoring quality, safety and programme performance.
• Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Building strong relationships with residents, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Managing site logistics, materials and resources.
• Producing progress reports and programme updates.
• Promoting a positive culture focused on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Experience Required

• Proven experience delivering planned maintenance, refurbishment or external works within social housing.
• Experience managing works including scaffolding, roofing, windows, doors, EWI, fascias, soffits and guttering.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and subcontractors effectively.
• SMSTS qualification (essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Experience with boiler room upgrades, full refurbishments, pipework renewal programmes, FRA works and compartmentation projects would be advantageous.
