We are looking to appoint four Site Managers to support the delivery of ancillary buildings on the HMP Welland Oaks project. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major, high‑profile scheme within a secure environment, contributing to the successful delivery of key supporting infrastructure.
You'll take responsibility for specific work packages, ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery on site, while working closely with the wider project team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing day‑to‑day site operations for designated work areas or packages
- Coordinating subcontractors and trades to meet programme and quality requirements
- Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are consistently met and promoted
- Monitoring quality of works and ensuring compliance with specifications
- Supporting programme delivery, identifying risks and resolving issues proactively
- Maintaining clear communication with the project team and stakeholders
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative and high‑performing site culture
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction
- Experience managing packages or workstreams on medium to large projects
- Strong understanding of site management, health & safety and quality standards
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain programme momentum
- A proactive, organised and solutions‑focused approach
- Experience working in secure, custodial or regulated environments is beneficial (but not essential)
- Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS are desirable
