WPS have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join our planned works team in Bloxwich, working on a planned social housing programme with one of our long-standing housing partners.

This is a key site-based role where you will take full responsibility for the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of planned works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to agreed standards.


About the Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, leading operatives and subcontractors while maintaining excellent relationships with residents, clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing planned works programmes from start to completion
  • Ensuring all works are delivered safely, compliantly and to programme
  • Day-to-day leadership of site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control and customer care
  • Monitoring progress against programme and reporting on performance
  • Ensuring full compliance with health & safety, company policies and housing partner requirements
  • Completing site reports, progress updates and handover documentation

What We're Looking For (Essential)

Proven experience as a Site Manager on planned social housing works
SSSTS qualification (minimum requirement)
Full UK driving licence
✅ Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance
✅ Excellent communication and people-management skills
✅ Ability to manage multiple trades and programmes effectively

(Applications without planned social housing experience or SSSTS will not be considered.)
