The role is site-based and requires travel across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce schedules of work and specifications.
  • Identify property defects and recommend appropriate remedial solutions.
  • Support programme delivery teams with technical advice and guidance.
  • Monitor quality and ensure works meet client and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with residents, site teams and client representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Assist in managing variations and technical queries throughout project delivery.

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the contract area.
  • Relevant surveying qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent in Building Surveying or a related discipline).

Desirable

  • Experience with retrofit, PAS 2035 or decarbonisation projects.
  • Knowledge of social housing client requirements and compliance standards.
  • Understanding of contract delivery within occupied residential environments.
