WPS is looking for a Standards Advisor to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and improving our management systems, quality standards, and operational excellence across the business.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Standards Advisor, you'll:
- Promote and support the practical application of our Operating Framework and quality management systems
- Coach and influence teams to improve performance, reduce defects, and drive customer satisfaction
- Conduct compliance reviews and internal audits across projects and business activities
- Produce accurate audit reports and support corrective actions through to completion
- Support external certification and surveillance audits
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and ways of working
- Share lessons learned and promote industry best practice
- Support teams in maintaining compliance with company, client, and statutory requirements
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement across the business
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who combines strong quality and compliance knowledge with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Essential
- Quality Practitioner (PCQI)
- IRCA Internal Auditor training or equivalent auditing experience
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
- Experience carrying out audits, compliance reviews, or quality assurance activities
- Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and positively influence others
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload
- Willingness to travel nationally as required
Desirable
- Experience within construction, building services, or a related technical environment
- Knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and industry best practice
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and management systems development
