The Vacancy
We have an opportunity for a Social Value Manager to join our established Wates Construction MOJ team in the Midlands. You will be responsible for overall strategy, development, delivery and performance management and reporting of the Framework and Project Sustainability and Social Value KPIs/targets. This role will include the development of framework and project level delivery plans, plus the successful reporting and achievement of these. There will also be a requirement to lead on the successful development of wider sustainability programme commitments.
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Successful establishment and delivery of a strategy to fully achieve all Framework KPIs/Commitments/Measures relating to social value and sustainability
- Working with pre-con and project teams to ensure project plans are developed, integrated and successfully delivered
- Development of processes and procedures that ensure accurate and timely submission of all framework performance data as required by the Framework Agreement and ensuring our projects do not enter amber or red status, including obtaining relevant data from project / other teams within the business
- Development of, and setting up workshops and training with project teams to ensure understanding of all KPIs/requirements and reporting procedures
- Taking a leading role in managing client sustainability team relationship
We are looking for you to have had previous experience in a similar role and have an understanding of framework sustainability/social value obligations and processes and the monitoring and achievement of KPIs.
To be successful in the role you will be an excellent communicator on a variety of platforms with strong strategy implementation and project management skills.
