ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Senior Planners are a valuable part of our business, the focus of this role is to provide an effective and professional planning and programming services for pre-contract and project teams.

As our Senior Planner you will:

  • Manage and report on project progress, understanding key performance indicators, project controls, and metrics. Ensure full integration of design and procurement elements with construction.
  • Produce integrated tender programmes, logistic plans, and method statements, presenting proposals at settlement meetings. Review programme effectiveness, advise on delay issues, and manage risk.
  • Produce schedules and analyse quotes for project equipment and machinery. Participate in multiple projects, supporting live and tender projects, and manage successful completion with minimal supervision.
  • Guide and advise other planners, provide planning support across the business through mentoring trainee planners, and attend tender handover, planning, procurement, and lead weekly progress meetings.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

You have extensive experience working on large budget construction developments. As a confident communicator, you enjoy liaising with a range of clients. You are familiar with commonly used forms of construction contracts, including NEC 3, and you are aware of various performance measurement techniques such as Critical Path Analysis, Earned Value Analysis, and the use of Key Performance Indicators. Proficiency in ASTA PowerProjects is essential, and knowledge of Primavera P6 would be advantageous.
