Multi Skilled Engineer

Here at Wates, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Engineer to join our Facilities Management mobile team supporting our clients based in the Hampshire Region. The main objective is for you to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to Mechanical plant, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Mechanical Services. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following: • Knowledge of mechanical and building services maintenance • Previous FM experience managing multiple sites • Strong Mechanical/plumbing Experience • Plumbing or Mechanical qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds. • Good knowledge of a plant room and day to day building maintenance Key Accountabilities will include: • Ensure all works are delivered in guidance of the legislation and contractual obligations • Utilise CAFM/PDA technology for real time job updates, and provide detailed/comprehensive reports on works delivered • To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests associated with the mechanical systems • To respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the mechanical services aspects of the contract as required. Shift Engineer

Wates have excellent opportunity for a skilled Electrical Shift Engineer to join our team at the Discovery Communications in Chiswick, London, providing both planned and reactive maintenance to all relevant electrical equipment, controlling and operating of building operational systems, with a clear focus on Energy and the Environment and ensuring compliance to Health & Safety matters in relation to both direct and indirect scope of this role. Technical Service Manager

Title: Technical Services Manager Location: London within M25Job Type: Full TimeContract Type: PermanentWe are looking for an experienced Technical Services Manager to bring expertise to the Client multi-let office sector with the overseeing of Hard FM Services Operations by ensuring that our appointed M&E Service Partner deliver effective asset management into M&E and Building Fabric.This role will have responsibility for technical support for a premium client within JLL’s UK Property and Asset Management / IFM division. The selected assets will be a range of multi-let properties from the office sector.Key Responsibilities: Involvement in Design for Management (DFM) – development & Implementation of client projects, the on-going maintenance and understanding of new systems and technical process Interaction with FM teams through a thorough understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLA) and providing technical advice and support CX Focus through the right selection process, the expectation would be that the TSM would already have a Customer Service Mindset and excellent communication skills Potential conflict resolution skills: e.g., any technical issues arising from Suppliers Occupiers, Client instructed fit outs Provide a level of strategic thinking around Client plans for asset in terms of Planned Maintenance Reports (PMR) /Planned Maintenance Programme (PMP) budgeting advice to surveyors and FMs Expected OutputsThe provision of technical and compliance support to the JLL team in general with the following: Assist with the overall responsibility for ensuring that engineering maintenance has been completed to appropriate standards and contract specifications, this would also include the understanding of SFG 20 tasks under the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM)/ Business for Maintenance (BFM) approach, due for 2023 roll-out on assets which lend themselves to this more cost-effective way of working.We are looking for an individual with a proven solid experience in delivering high quality hard M&E services in a customer focused multi-site environment, and good working knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation. You will have a robust technical background with a professional qualification and practical experience in a trade – Electrical, Mechanical, Gas or F-Gas. Desirable is a BIFM qualification or equivalent, IOSH or NEBOSH certificate and experience in computer PPM management systems (e.g., Concept).To be successful in this role you will have highly effective management skills and be able to communicate clearly and concisely. Alongside this, you will have excellent attention to detail and promote ownership through to closure.

Foot Mobile Engineer
