Mobile Engineer

Mobile Engineer – Air ConditioningLocation: SoutheastJob Type: Full TimeContract Type: PermanentHere at Wates, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Engineer to join our Facilities Management mobile team supporting our clients based in the South East area. The main objective is for you to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to HVAC plant, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Mechanical Services. Due to the nature of the works, we are exceptionally keen to speak to candidates with a strong background in air conditioning.ABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following:· Fgas Cat 1· Level 2 NVQ in AC· Knowledge of Heating & Air Conditioning Systems· Strong Electrical & HVAC Experience· Have previously worked as a mobile FM engineerWhat is important to us is your natural communication skills to deliver high levels of customer service at all times, your ability to effectively multi-task, work to tight deadlines and problem solve on the job; whilst always promoting health & safety excellence.ABOUT THE ROLEKey Accountabilities will include:· Ensure all works are delivered in guidance of the legislation and contractual obligations· Utilise CAFM/PDA technology for real time job updates, and provide detailed/comprehensive reports on works delivered· To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests associated with the heating and ventilation systems, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipe work and associated mechanical systems or items· To respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the mechanical services aspects of the contract as required.In return, we offer a competitive salary, additional pay when on call, along with 22 days holiday, Pension benefits, life Insurance, and a flexible benefits scheme that you can tailor to suit your lifestyle.Given the nature of this position, you will need to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) at offer stage. Technical Services Manager

TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER We are looking for an experienced Technical Services Managers to lead the operations team by delivering excellence and first-class sustainable M&E, projects and compliance providing leadership, management, added value and development for a key client covering the London and Midlands regions. The key responsibilities of this role include. •  Management of a region within a large contract with line management of supervisors and overseeing of engineering workforce delivering M&E services, Compliance and OF delivery. Supporting with the management and delivery of Extra Works and M&E Projects. •  Leadership, driving and development of direct reports ensuring all mandatory training is in place with a robust succession plan in place for all roles.    •  Management of the Supply Chain whilst driving safety and compliance standards ensuring Avetta and Construction Line compliance. Holding annual Plan Rights and regular performance reviews. •  Preparation and presentation of MI reports to clients at regular KPI meetings. Key stakeholder management and delivery of high standards of client satisfaction. Develop relationships with consultants working for our client. To be successful in this role you will have highly effective management skills and be able to communicate clearly and concisely. Alongside this, you will have excellent diligence and promote ownership through to closure. We are looking for an individual with a proven solid experience in delivering high quality hard M&E services in a client-driven multi-site environment, and good working knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation. You will have a robust technical background with a professional qualification and practical experience in a trade – Electrical, Mechanical, Gas or F-Gas. Desirable is a BIFM qualification or equivalent, IOSH or NEBOSH certificate and experience in computer PPM management systems (e.g. ELogbooks).
