You’ll work closely with our client and wider WPS team to uphold safety, compliance, and service excellence every day.What You’ll Be Doing: Carrying out hands-on maintenance and repairs across electrical, mechanical, and fabric systems. Supporting compliance and health & safety standards across the site. Responding to reactive issues promptly and professionally. Assisting with PPM tasks and ensuring accurate documentation. Collaborating with site teams and contractors to deliver seamless service. Identifying opportunities for energy efficiency and sustainability improvements.What We’re Looking For: A strong technical background in a relevant trade (Electrical, Mechanical, Gas or F-Gas). Experience in facilities maintenance within a commercial or customer-facing environment. Good working knowledge of health & safety legislation. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Gas Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Gas Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our responsive maintenance contract in Barnsley. You will be responsible for managing a team of schedulers and gas engineers, ensuring compliance, quality, and performance across all aspects of the contract.🔑 Key Accountabilities Oversee the daily running of the gas contract, supported by an established team of schedulers and engineers. Ensure full compliance with the Wates Operating Framework and all relevant gas safety regulations. Manage quality control across internal teams and subcontractors delivering gas works. Provide technical support for ongoing gas-related tasks and projects. Monitor and drive team productivity to meet client KPIs for gas servicing and repairs✅ To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have A valid Domestic Gas Qualification. Proven experience managing a gas contract. Strong understanding of gas legislation and regulatory requirements.
