We’re looking to recruit people with a ‘can do’ attitude, who are reliable and genuine team players. Someone who has an honest, thorough, and flexible approach to work. When it comes to transferable skills, problem solving, and commercial awareness would be useful. You should also understand reports, both reading and putting them together.

We have an opportunity for a Supervisor to join our Wates team within our Responsive Maintenance division. You will be working out of our Ealing office on one of our social housing contracts, delivering reactive and some planned maintenance to our residents.Key Accountabilities will include: Ensure high quality service is provided with the management of the work scheduling in accordance with company procedures, standards and SLAs Represent Wates at client and resident performance meetings as requested by the Operations Manager Manage the responsive repairs function to ensure consistent performance against targets Effective and efficient management of material costs and ensure that all are following correct processes and procedures Monitor quality of work through inspection, inspection reports, analysis of key performance indicators and analysis of customer satisfaction surveys. Electrician

We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our WPS team within our Reactive Housing Maintenance Division. You will be working from our Milton Keynes office and covering the surrounding areas, working on our social housing contract. Roofers Mate

Roofer

Location: Skelmersdale

Here at Wates, we have an opportunity for a Roofer to join our Living Space Responsive team within the Skelmersdale area. In this role as a roofer, you will be working in conjunction with one of our existing social housing partners so being able to build rapport with people is key. Key Accountabilities will include: Undertake repair/renewal roofing works Communicate effectively with the scheduler, residents and line manager Work safely and in compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements Remain up-to-date with technical and legal requirements of skill area Work in partnership with other operatives to complete repairs when required Complete work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job undertaken, via a PDA We are looking for you to be an experienced roofer and have the skills to deliver small projects and repair work. Ideally you will have experience within the housing maintenance sector, but this is not a must. You will also have relevant trade qualifications (minimum of an NVQ Level 2 and a full UK driving license. To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with the ability to problem solve and multitask.
