Early Careers Adviser – Recruitment Specialist (FTC)
Our Talent and Development team are looking for an Early Careers Advisor – Recruitment Specialist to develop and deliver key aspects of our Early Careers attraction, selection, recruitment, and onboarding journey as well as overseeing elements of the development programmes providing a first-class experience for the trainees and apprentices.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Deliver the full early careers recruitment lifecycle in line with the business needs and the wider business strategy. This includes several different programmes: Graduate, Undergraduate, Year in Industry placements and Higher Apprenticeship programmes
- Work with our external recruitment partner organisation to develop and implement processes for the recruitment of our annual Trainee campaign. Develop a robust attraction, sourcing and assessment strategy that is fair and consistent with a focus on hiring target attainment including diversity and social mobility.
- Work with our internal brand manager to design attractive advertising and social media campaigns as well as brand awareness including emerging talent and diversity events to ensure we promote our programmes through a wide range of diverse channels.
- Manage high volume organisation, scheduling and delivery of remote assessment centres, to ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and support assessors with hiring decisions ensuring they are engaged and involved in the recruitment activity end to end.
- to deliver as part of the onboarding process networking events and Trainee Inductions (Face to face)
- Represent the Wates Trainee landscape with both internal and external stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a highly motivated and driven team player with a proven track record in delivering end-to-end Early Careers recruitment campaigns. You should bring experience from graduate recruitment, Early Careers, or a Talent Acquisition environment, with a strong understanding of the early careers landscape. The role requires extensive experience managing high-volume assessment centres and a demonstrated ability to influence and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be confident in supplier engagement and management, and possess excellent communication skills. Strong organisational abilities, a data-driven mindset, and the capability to prioritise and meet deadlines are essential to delivering outstanding results.
Frequent national travel including to our head office Leatherhead is required.
