The Vacancy
WPS are looking for a skilled and dependable Tiler/Floor Layer to join our team in the Skelmersdale area working on projects within a social housing environment for a key client. This is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that supports local communities.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out floor and wall tiling to a high standard across residential properties.
- Prepare surfaces and ensure correct materials and techniques are used.
- Collaborate with site managers and other trades to meet deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment.
- Communicate respectfully with tenants and clients when required.
✅ Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Wall and Floor Tiling (or equivalent).
- Full UK Driving Licence – essential for travel between sites.
- Experience in social housing or similar environments is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
