🔧 Multi-skilled Engineer (Mobile) – South of England
📍 Location: Mobile role covering sites across the South of England
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

WPS is seeking a versatile and experienced Multi-skilled Engineer to join our mobile engineering team supporting a high-profile global client across multiple sites in the South of England.
This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive approach to planned and reactive maintenance, compliance inspections, and general building services support across a portfolio of commercial properties.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on plant and equipment including AHUs, pumps, valves, and control systems
- Support statutory inspections and ensure compliance with SHEQ standards
- Maintain accurate records via PDA and site logbooks
- Liaise with subcontractors and oversee service visits
- Provide basic handyman services including furniture moves, door maintenance, and minor repairs
- Participate in the on-call rota and support the 24/7 helpdesk operations
🧠 Skills & Experience:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 18th Edition (or willingness to train), 2391 Testing & Inspection desirable
- L8 Awareness and basic plumbing skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings
- Experience with BMS, emergency lighting, water treatment, and HVAC systems
- IOSH/NEBOSH qualification advantageous
