Technical Services Manager – Facilities Management
Location: Bromley, Kent
About the Role
WPS is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to join our Facilities Management team, based in Bromley, Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality technical services across a diverse portfolio, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all technical services within the FM contract, including mechanical, electrical, and building fabric maintenance.
- Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities, delivering cost-effective solutions.
- Lead and develop a team of engineers and subcontractors, driving performance and service excellence.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and solutions.
- Monitor budgets, KPIs, and service level agreements to ensure contractual obligations are met.
About You
- Proven experience in a technical management role within Facilities Management.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems and building services.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and deliver against KPIs.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Building Services or equivalent) and strong understanding of compliance requirements.
