The Vacancy

WPS are working across the North West to make homes warmer, healthier and safer. To support this, we are recruiting a Project Manager to plan and deliver planned maintenance programmes across our clients’ homes.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new partnership and take ownership of a major project in Carlisle, while providing support to other projects in the region when required. You will lead the project and manage the delivery team to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to the highest standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver planned maintenance programmes across social housing properties.
  • Manage retrofit works and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee work packages including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, windows and doors.
  • Coordinate resources and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients and residents, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Support other projects across the North West as needed.

About You

  • Proven experience in project management within social housing or construction.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of planned works and retrofit programmes.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
