🔎 Job Overview
You will support the Operations Director in delivering both the strategic and operational management of our renewables and planned‑works programmes. Your leadership will directly influence the quality of service we deliver to thousands of customers, helping to create warmer, safer, more energy‑efficient homes. 🏡⚡
You’ll help shape performance, culture, and service excellence while aligning with Liberty’s values of passion, openness, respect and trust.
👥 PEOPLE FOCUSED
You’ll:
• Manage & supervise Site Managers, ensuring they lead multi‑discipline teams (operatives, agency staff, subcontractors, trainees) effectively 👷♂️👷♀️
• Prepare and deliver toolbox talks, team meetings & performance updates
• Work alongside Business Development & Commercial teams to ensure profitability and risk mitigation
• Ensure Site Managers uphold Liberty’s standards, policies & codes of conduct
🧭 ALWAYS ACCOUNTABLE
You will:
• Ensure operatives receive work in the most efficient way using Liberty IT systems (Power BI / FocalPoint / SharePoint / PASHub)
• Oversee quality assurance procedures for ASHP, Solar PV, ventilation, and wider planned works installations
• Monitor and report on KPIs, performance and quality 📊
• Ensure pre & post inspections are completed, including photographic evidence
• Manage resource levels to meet programme demands
• Work with Commercial teams on financial budgets, valuations & cost control
• Support tender responses, RFI submissions and bid compliance
• Ensure PAS 2030 / PAS 2035 compliance for all retrofit activities
• Lead accreditation processes (PAS, MCS, NAPIT, TrustMark)
🛠️ What You’ll Need
• Experience in Renewables, M&E, Social Housing, Wave 3 retrofit, and planned works
• Strong understanding of ASHPs, Solar PV, ventilation, retrofit standards and energy‑efficiency solutions
• Excellent leadership, communication & people‑management skills
• Confident client‑facing skills with the ability to build strong relationships 🤝
• Strong commercial awareness & understanding of compliance frameworks
