Our award-winning family leave policy includes full paid maternity leave as well as eight weeks paid partner / paternity leave. We offer enhanced shared parental and adoption leave including matched maternity pay, two weeks bereavement leave and flexible carers’ leave.

FLEXIBLE WORKING

By 2025, we intend all our roles to be flexible

Since introducing sector-leading Family Leave Policies in 2020, Wates has become a pioneer in flexible working, extending this benefit to all parts of our business, including site-based roles.

In 2024, we further enhanced our flexible working policies and aim to make all roles flexible by 2025. Our six flexible working principles ensure that arrangements are tailored to individual needs, mutually beneficial, team-focused, adaptable, leader-supported, and contextually appropriate.
